Your Story Published

Have you written a book or short story you think is worth publishing? You could try vanity publishers and spend £1000's and still have no results at the end. (BBC's Watchdog recently reported on this continuing scam.) If your priority is fame, rather than fortune, then you can have your manuscript published by Amying eBooks.

If you send your manuscript by email - in txt, doc (MS Word), lit (MS Reader) or pdf format, we'll include it here for free! (manuscripts sent by post will be charged an administration fee.)

We will be advertising this site in National publications. Once shown here major publishers will have the opportunity to see your work; we place no restrictions on you as to what you do with your work after it appears here; you keep the copyright! So once a publisher makes you an offer, all the royalties go to you, not us!

Payments to You, (the author)

Amying eBooks are free to read. However, we request that readers who enjoy a book send a voluntary contribution if they enjoyed reading it. This works in a similar way to shareware computer programs. Payments are sent to us, and we send you 75% of the profits*.

Payment to Us, (the Publisher)

For publishing of manuscripts sent by email, inclusion is currently free.

For publishing of manuscripts sent by post, we charge £5 per 10 A4 pages. Manuscripts should be typed, not hand-written, with a clear typeface. Lines should be double spaced and margins set at a minimum of 3cm. (Hand-written manuscripts = £25 per A4 page) Payment must be paid in advance, cheques or Postal Orders payable to M. Curnane, posted to: 38 Plexfield, CV22 7EN. No manuscripts will be returned, unless accompanied by the correctly priced and sized SAE.

Other payments; we take 25% of the voluntary / shareware style payments. Other admin. fees may be requested under certain circumstances, but you will be notified first.

Editing Fees

If you would like your manuscript edited for grammar and spelling before publication, by trained and experienced editors and English teachers, we charge a fixed fee of £20, + 50p per A4 page beyond 20 pages. This is entirely optional, and we will gladly publish your unedited manuscript.

General Information / rules

When sending a manuscript remember to include your name and contact details, and also the genre of the manuscript.
Manuscripts must not have been previously published anywhere else, and must not have copyright protection, unless you, the author, have full copyright for the entire manuscript. It is your responsibility to check this, as we will not be held responsible for any copyright infringements.
By sending it to us you are automatically giving us the right to use it for our websites and publicity uses.
You are solely responsible for the content of your work, and any legal action against it.
We reserve the right to refuse any manuscript, or to remove a manuscript from the site, without giving reasons or giving any notice.
Poetry writers: collections of 10 to 20 only, and no special formats unless already encoded into pdf!
We reserve the right to make any changes to these conditions without giving notice.
By submitting your manuscript you are automatically agreeing to abide by these rules.

* Profits refer to the full payment less credit card fees, and any other third party charges. Payments are only sent once your total equals £100 or more.
